LifeFlight Golf Classic at Boothbay

Thursday, September 8, 2016

Boothbay Harbor Country Club, Maine

An enthusiastic field golfers joined us for this memorable event to benefit LifeFlight.

Participants enjoyed the chance to play on this first-rate PGA course designed by renowned architect Bruce Hepner (whose work includes courses in New Zealand, Florida and Cape Arundel) and enjoy the club's spectacular new clubhouse. (Learn more about the course at the club's website.)

A corporate helicopter provided by Leonardo Helicopters/Agusta Westland offered preview tours.
After a hearty lunch, bagpiper Chris Pinchbeck offered golfers a moving sendoff. Scottish-born Andrew Stewart, proprietor of the Drouthy Bear Pub, offered an on-course whisky tasting.
Friends and guests joined golfers and LifeFlight staff and crew for a festive cocktail reception following play.

Funds raised in the tournament will support LifeFlight's education and training prograns throughout Maine. Thanks to all who participated!
