LifeFlight Provides Critical Care Transport Throughout Maine

LifeFlight’s vision for Maine is a place in which every person, in every community, has access to critical care and medical transport when they need it.

We do this by working with our EMS partners to transform the critical care transport medicine system into an integrated, high quality, patient-centered system worthy of the public’s trust.

We work with our parent organizations, Central Maine Healthcare and Eastern Maine Healthcare, and our aviation operator, SevenBar Aviation, to achieve this mission and maintain a strong commitment to safety.

Lions support “Night Sight” for LifeFlight of Maine

The Camden Lions Club recently presented LifeFlight of Maine with a donation of $2,000 to help purchase night vision goggles. Lions Club members are dedicated to the ideal of service, be it community service or service to those in need. Helen Keller dubbed Lions Club International the “Knights of the Blind,” so it seemed appropriate that the Camden Lions should make this donation to help give night sight to LifeFlight.

Prouts Neck resident raises money for LifeFlight on her trek to the South Pole

Prouts Neck and Connecticut resident Audrey Cadwallader has completed another wild adventure, and has been working to raise money for LifeFlight along the way. She travelled to Antarctica to ski from the 89th degree latitude to the 90th degree, better known as the South Pole. After an 8-day, frigid trek to the South Pole, she successfully climbed Vinson Massif in the Sentinel mountain range. At 16,050 feet above sea level, it is one of the “7 Summits,” the highest mountain peaks on each of the seven continents.
