LifeFlight's 5th Annual Golf Scramble Nets Nearly $25,000
For the first time in the golf scramble's history, LifeFlight hosted a full field of players and even had to turn away teams who waited too long to register. One hundred and forty four golfing aficionados turned out to raise money for LifeFlight, the state’s only emergency medical helicopter service.

More than 20 Maine Emergency Medical Services personnel attended the Rising Tide Non-Profit EMS Sustainability Roundtable Conference on Friday, May 31, 2013. The LifeFlight Foundation hosted the all-day conference for nonprofit and small municipal agencies to discuss town governance and current funding concerns; as well as brainstorm effective ways to raise funds, increase retention and other topics.
An update to LifeFlight's precautionary landing in Cumberland
A LifeFlight helicopter returning to a Lewiston hospital on the 17th of April made a precautionary landing in a field off Winn and Cross Roads in Cumberland. There were no patients on board, and the pilot elected to make the unscheduled landing as a safety precaution after a master caution light illuminated indicating a problem with an engine. The landing was made without incident and there was no damage to the helicopter.
