LifeFlight Medic Receives Next Step Maine Scholarship

Kyle Santosuosso, LifeFlight Paramedic, nominated by LifeFlight Executive Director Thomas Judge, received a 2016 Next Step Maine Employee of Promise Scholarship to support his pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Management at Anna Maria College.

Maritime Energy/Maritime Farms and customers raise more than $20,000 for LifeFlight of Maine

Maritime Energy/Farms raised more than $20,000 for LifeFlight of Maine with their Penny for Life campaign, which ran through the months of March and April. During the campaign, the company pledged to donate 1¢ from every gallon of gasoline sold at Maritime Farms locations to the state’s only emergency medical helicopter service. 

Two long-time LifeFlight crew members honored by state

LifeFlight’s founding medical director and one of its long-serving base managers were honored by Maine Emergency Medical Services, part of the state’s Department of Public Safety, during the annual EMS Awards Ceremony in the Hall of Flags at the State House in Augusta.

LifeFlight is different than other helicopter EMS you've read about recently

We thought this might be a nice opportunity to talk about how LifeFlight of Maine’s air ambulance services are much different.

Maritime Energy donates a penny per gallon to LifeFlight during March and April

During the months of March and April, 1¢ from every gallon of gasoline sold at all Maritime Farms locations will be donated to LifeFlight of Maine. All of the money collected will be used to help purchase LifeFlight’s third helicopter, expected to go into service later this year.
